Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 8 oz uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in garlic, tomato paste, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add beef broth and cream, then stir in uncooked pasta.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce is thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
