Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak)
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, linguine, or penne)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest, then slice thinly against the grain.
- Reduce skillet heat to medium. Add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Top with sliced steak, garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired, and serve immediately.
