Description

Steak and Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a decadent dish featuring tender slices of steak served over pasta tossed in a rich, velvety garlic Parmesan sauce. It’s the perfect combination of savory and creamy flavors for a comforting, elegant meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak)
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, linguine, or penne)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest, then slice thinly against the grain.
  4. Reduce skillet heat to medium. Add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta to sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Top with sliced steak, garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for a veggie boost.
  • Use grilled chicken or shrimp as a variation.
  • Mix in Pecorino Romano for extra sharpness.
  • A splash of white wine or broth enhances the sauce’s depth.
