Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as per package instructions)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce or topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks (optional)
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup crushed toffee bits or chopped candy bars (like Heath or Snickers)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake batter according to the box instructions.
  2. Spray the inside of a slow cooker with non-stick spray and pour in the cake batter, spreading it evenly.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over the surface using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  5. Pour sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce evenly over the top to soak into the holes.
