Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs whole cremini or white button mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme or parsley, chopped
- Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese or 1 tbsp lemon juice for finishing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.
- In a bowl, toss mushrooms with melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread mushrooms in a single layer on the prepared pan without crowding.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, tossing halfway, until mushrooms are golden and tender with crispy edges.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped herbs. Add Parmesan or lemon juice if desired. Serve hot.
