Description

This Savory Ground Beef and Potatoes Skillet is a one-pan, hearty dinner that’s quick, budget-friendly, and full of comfort. Juicy ground beef, golden crispy potatoes, and pantry staples come together in just 30 minutes for a simple and satisfying meal. Great for weeknights or meal prep!


Ingredients

  • Ground beef (85/15 preferred)
  • Russet or Yukon gold potatoes, diced small
  • Onion, chopped
  • Garlic, minced
  • Olive oil or butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh or dried parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and golden brown.
  2. Add beef and onions: Push potatoes to one side of the pan. Add ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until beef is browned and onions are soft.
  3. Season: Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix to combine everything and coat the potatoes with flavor.
  4. Finish: Continue cooking for 3–5 minutes until everything is crispy and well mixed.
  5. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
