Description
Reese’s Peanut Butter Banana Bread is a rich, moist loaf combining ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter, and chopped Reese’s candy. Perfectly sweet and nutty, it’s a decadent twist on classic banana bread.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. Whisk in melted butter, peanut butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in most of the chopped Reese’s and chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with reserved Reese’s and chips.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Swirl extra peanut butter on top before baking for added flair.
- Use chunky peanut butter for added texture.
- Use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend for a gluten-free version.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert.
