Description

Pizza Burger Pie is a hearty comfort food mash-up combining the flavors of a cheesy pizza and a juicy burger, baked together in a golden crust for an easy and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit or pie dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or other pizza toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to combine flavors.
  4. Press biscuit or pie dough into a greased pie dish, pressing slightly up the sides to form a crust.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into the crust and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Add pepperoni or other toppings if using.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let rest a few minutes before slicing and serving.
