Description

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or plain yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream or yogurt until smooth.

  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
