One-Pot Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Gnocchi is a creamy, spicy comfort food dish made with tender shrimp, soft gnocchi, and bold Cajun spices in a rich Alfredo-style sauce. It’s quick to make and packed with flavor, all in one pan.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1–2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broth and cream, stir in more Cajun seasoning, and bring to a simmer.
- Add gnocchi and cook uncovered for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and sauce thickens.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, return shrimp to the pan, and cook another 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve warm.
Notes
- Swap shrimp for sausage or chicken for variation.
- Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for more color and flavor.
- Use half-and-half instead of cream for a lighter version.
- Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for extra heat.
