Description

One-Pot Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Gnocchi is a creamy, spicy comfort food dish made with tender shrimp, soft gnocchi, and bold Cajun spices in a rich Alfredo-style sauce. It’s quick to make and packed with flavor, all in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 tbsp Cajun seasoning (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broth and cream, stir in more Cajun seasoning, and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add gnocchi and cook uncovered for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, return shrimp to the pan, and cook another 1–2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap shrimp for sausage or chicken for variation.
  • Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for more color and flavor.
  • Use half-and-half instead of cream for a lighter version.
  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for extra heat.
