Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/3 cup neutral oil (canola, vegetable, or sunflower)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8-inch round or square baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Make a well in the center and add milk, oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract.
