Description

These Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies are an indulgent layered dessert featuring fudgy chocolate brownie, creamy cheesecake, gooey caramel, and chunks of Milky Way candy bars baked right in. Perfect for parties or potlucks, this caramel cheesecake brownie recipe is rich, decadent, and guaranteed to impress.

Ingredients

  • For the Brownie Layer:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup Milky Way candy bars, chopped
  • For the Cheesecake Layer:
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Extra caramel sauce, for drizzle
  • Additional chopped Milky Way pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with both sugars. Whisk in eggs and vanilla until combined.

  3. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt to form a thick batter.

  4. Fold in chopped Milky Way bars. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.

  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until creamy.

  6. Gently spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter.

  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl gently with a knife or skewer.

  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the center is just set. Cool completely before slicing.

  9. Drizzle with more caramel and top with extra Milky Way pieces if desired.

Notes

  • Use Snickers, Rolos, or Twix instead of Milky Way for variation.
  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt after baking for a gourmet finish.
  • Swap the homemade brownie layer for a box mix if needed.
  • Chilling before slicing makes for cleaner cuts and better layers.
  • Freeze leftover brownies for up to 2 months.
