Description

Mile High Eagle Brand Milk Pound Cake is a tall, dense, and buttery classic made rich and moist with sweetened condensed milk—perfect for serving plain or dressed up with fruit or glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease and flour a large bundt or tube pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in sweetened condensed milk until incorporated.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract.
  8. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 75–90 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
