Description

These low-calorie Greek yogurt brownies are rich, fudgy, and packed with chocolate flavor—without all the butter and oil. Made with Greek yogurt, cocoa, and pantry staples, they’re a lighter indulgence that satisfies your sweet tooth and fits a healthier lifestyle.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (nonfat or low-fat)
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose or whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir just until combined—don’t overmix.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips or walnuts if using.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. Cool completely in the pan, then slice into squares and serve.
