Description

These Juicy Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburgers are packed with bold, savory flavor thanks to melted garlic butter and rich Parmesan cheese. Quick to cook and easy to customize, this gourmet-style cheeseburger recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner or backyard cookout.

Ingredients

  • lbs ground beef (80/20 for best juiciness)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for toasting buns)
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Set garlic butter aside.

  2. Season ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties and press a small indentation in the center of each.

  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side until desired doneness.

  4. In the last minute of cooking, brush patties with garlic butter and top with Parmesan. Cover briefly to melt cheese.

  5. Toast buns in a skillet with olive oil or butter until golden.

  6. Assemble burgers with your choice of toppings. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Mix Parmesan into the beef for extra flavor.
  • Substitute Pecorino Romano for a sharper twist.
  • Turn them into sliders for a crowd-friendly version.
  • Roasted garlic adds a deeper flavor to the butter.
  • Let patties rest a few minutes before serving to retain juices.
