Description

This Peach Lemonade is a sweet, tangy homemade drink made with fresh peaches and lemons for the ultimate summer refreshment. Perfect for warm days, BBQs, or brunches, this easy lemonade recipe is naturally flavored, customizable, and can be made sparkling or spiked. Every sip is fruity, zesty, and full of real sunshine flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (or 2 cups frozen, thawed)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (or to taste; use honey/maple/agave if preferred)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 5 cups water (divided: 1 cup for simmering, 4 cups for mixing)
  • Ice, for serving
  • Optional Add-ins & Garnish:
  • Sparkling water or soda water (replace part of the water)
  • Mint leaves
  • Extra peach slices or lemon rounds

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. Cook for 5–8 minutes until peaches are soft and sugar is dissolved.

  3. Let cool slightly, then blend until smooth.

  4. (Optional) Strain puree through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture.

  5. In a large pitcher, combine peach puree, lemon juice, and remaining 4 cups of water. Stir to mix.

  6. Taste and adjust with more sugar or lemon juice if needed.

  7. Chill for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice and garnish as desired.

Notes

  • For sparkling lemonade, use half sparkling water.
  • Add bourbon, or peach schnapps for an adult version.
  • Mix in berries for a fruitier twist.
  • Leave the peach puree unstrained for a rustic, thicker lemonade.
  • Add herbs like rosemary or basil for a refreshing herbal infusion.
