Description

Garlic Herb Butter Lobster Tails with Lemon Drizzle is a luxurious yet easy seafood dish featuring succulent lobster meat broiled or baked with a rich garlic herb butter and finished with fresh lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (thawed, if frozen)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) or turn the broiler on high.
  2. Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise. Gently pull the meat up and over the shell, leaving it attached at the base. Place the prepared tails on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, chopped herbs, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Brush the lobster meat with olive oil, then generously spread or spoon the garlic herb butter over the top.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or broil for 8–10 minutes, until the meat is opaque and just cooked through.
  6. Drizzle the lobster with fresh lemon juice and garnish with additional herbs before serving.

Notes

  • You can add a splash of white wine to the baking pan for extra flavor.
  • For a spicy kick, stir crushed red pepper into the butter.
  • Dijon mustard or Parmesan can be added to the butter for a creamy twist.
  • Serve with a side of garlic butter for dipping.
  • Reheat leftovers gently in the oven at 300°F (150°C), covered with foil.
