Description

Garlic Butter Lobster Tails in Skillet Bliss is a decadent yet simple seafood dish where tender lobster tails are seared in a skillet and basted with rich, garlicky butter. It’s elegant, flavorful, and perfect for special occasions or a luxurious dinner at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails, thawed and shells split
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Thaw lobster tails if frozen. Cut through top shell with kitchen shears to expose the meat, then lift it over the shell, leaving it attached at the base.
  2. Season lobster meat with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place lobster tails meat-side down and sear for 2–3 minutes until lightly browned.
  5. Flip the tails, reduce heat to medium-low, and add remaining butter and garlic.
  6. Baste lobster with garlic butter for 3–5 minutes until opaque and cooked through (internal temp 140°F / 60°C).
  7. Finish with lemon juice and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add white wine or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
  • Swirl in cream at the end for a richer sauce.
  • Use Dijon mustard in butter for a tangy twist.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread.
