Description

This Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Breast is juicy, tender, and full of savory flavor. Baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with herbs and spices, it’s the perfect quick and easy main dish for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or family gatherings—ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley, lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic.
  • Place chicken in the baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Spoon pan juices over the chicken before serving.
  • Garnish with parsley or lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Add grated Parmesan to the garlic butter for a cheesy finish.
  • Marinate the chicken in the garlic butter for extra flavor.
  • Boneless chicken thighs also work well and stay extra juicy.
  • Let chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing for best results.
