Description

Funnel Cake Bites are golden, crispy, bite-sized versions of the classic fair treat. Made with simple ingredients, these sweet snacks are deep-fried and dusted with powdered sugar for an irresistible nostalgic indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet or saucepan to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, then mix in milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
  5. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into hot oil, frying a few at a time.
  6. Fry each batch for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes
