Description

These Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a crispy, golden twist on a classic dessert. With creamy cheesecake filling, juicy strawberries, and buttery toasted bread, this sweet treat is indulgent, fun, and easy to make—perfect for dessert lovers looking for something a little extra.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 slices white sandwich bread (or brioche/Texas toast)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
  • Optional: cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  2. Spread the cheesecake filling on one slice of bread.

  3. Top with sliced strawberries and cover with a second slice of bread. Press gently to seal.

  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  5. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.

  6. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then dust with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.

  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add chocolate chips or Nutella for extra richness.

  • Try swapping strawberries with raspberries or blueberries.

  • Dip sandwiches in egg wash before frying for a French toast-style variation.

  • Use brioche or cinnamon swirl bread for added flavor.

  • Best served fresh, but can be reheated in a skillet or air fryer.
