Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup (or homemade)
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, sliced or cubed
- Optional add-ins:
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup shredded cheese (Swiss, Gruyère, or mozzarella)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

Pour uncooked rice evenly into the dish.

Add French onion soup and beef broth, stirring gently to combine.
