Description

These Easy Loaded Burger Bowls Without the Bun deliver all the juicy, cheesy flavor of a classic burger in a lighter, low-carb bowl. Perfect for meal prep, keto diets, or quick weeknight dinners, they’re customizable, crave-worthy, and ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/chicken)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup pickles or pickle chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup red onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup burger sauce or dressing (e.g., thousand island, ranch, or homemade sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Drain any excess grease and set the beef aside to cool slightly.

  3. While the beef cooks, chop lettuce, slice onions, halve tomatoes, and prep other toppings.

  4. In bowls, layer greens, beef, cheese, pickles, onions, and tomatoes.

  5. Drizzle with burger sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add avocado or guacamole for creaminess.
  • Use grilled chicken or plant-based crumbles for dietary preferences.
  • Top with jalapeños or spicy mayo for heat.
  • Sprinkle on chicken bits for a smoky crunch.
  • Serve over sweet potatoes or cauliflower rice for a heartier bowl.
  • Store beef separately and assemble fresh to keep veggies crisp.
