Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth, warm
- 1 box (6 oz) seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt, and pepper until well combined. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter and warm chicken broth. If using onion and celery, sauté them until soft and mix into stuffing.
- Spoon stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
