Ingredients

  • Pasta Crust:
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Meat Sauce:
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
  2. Make Pasta Crust: Mix cooked pasta with eggs, Parmesan, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Press into a greased 9-inch pie dish to form a crust.
  3. Make Meat Sauce: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Add tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Prepare Cheese Filling: Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Assemble Pie: Spread cheese mixture over pasta crust. Top with meat sauce and spread evenly.
  6. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let cool slightly.
  7. Serve: Slice and serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
