Description

Deep-Fried S’mores are a decadent twist on the classic campfire treat, featuring gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate sandwiched between graham crackers, dipped in batter, and fried to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 8 graham crackers, broken into 16 squares
  • 8 large marshmallows
  • 8 chocolate squares or 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Assemble mini s’mores by sandwiching a marshmallow and a chocolate square between two graham cracker halves.
  3. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in milk, egg, and vanilla to make a thick batter.
  4. Dip each s’more into the batter, coating completely.
  5. Carefully fry in hot oil for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute peanut butter cups or caramel-filled chocolates for a fun variation.
  • Add crushed graham crackers to the batter for extra crunch.
  • Serve with ice cream or a drizzle of melted chocolate for extra indulgence.
