Description

Creamy Marry Me Chicken Bowtie Pasta is a rich and flavorful dish featuring seared chicken, tender bowtie pasta, and a creamy Parmesan and sun-dried tomato sauce. It’s a comforting, crowd-pleasing meal that feels elegant yet easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained and chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain.
  6. Add pasta to the sauce, toss to coat, and return sliced chicken to the pan. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
  7. Garnish with red pepper flakes and chopped basil or parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
  • Use penne, fettuccine, or rigatoni if desired.
  • Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add shredded mozzarella for a cheesier sauce.
  • Reheat with a splash of broth or cream to loosen the sauce.
