Description

Creamy Garlic Salmon Pasta Skillet is a rich and comforting one-pan meal featuring tender salmon, a smooth garlic cream sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta — ideal for an elegant yet easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin removed)
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Season salmon with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet with olive oil, sear salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and flake into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and a splash of pasta water. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add cooked pasta and salmon to the skillet. Gently toss to coat in sauce.
  7. Finish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes, if using. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute shrimp or chicken for salmon.
  • Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Use coconut cream and nutritional yeast for a dairy-free version.
  • Reheat gently in a skillet with cream or milk; avoid microwave.
