Ingredients
- 4 fresh ripe figs, halved
- 1–2 tsp granulated sugar or honey (optional)
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup whole milk or cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
- Ice cubes (optional, for iced version)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place fig halves cut-side up on a baking tray and sprinkle with sugar or drizzle honey if desired.
- Roast figs for 15–20 minutes until softened and caramelized. Let cool slightly.
- Brew strong coffee while figs roast.
- Blend roasted figs with vanilla extract into a smooth puree.
- In a mug, combine brewed coffee, warm milk or cream, and 2–3 tablespoons of fig puree. Stir well.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired and serve hot. For an iced version, let ingredients cool and shake with ice before serving.
