Description
Cottage Cheese Chips are a crispy, high-protein, low-carb snack made by baking or air frying spoonfuls of seasoned cottage cheese until golden. Perfect for dipping or munching on their own, they’re a healthy and satisfying alternative to traditional chips.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese (small curd or blended smooth)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp paprika or chili powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Everything bagel seasoning or other toppings (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) or set air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Drop small mounds of cottage cheese onto the sheet, spreading each into a thin 2–3 inch circle.
- Sprinkle with salt and any optional seasonings or toppings.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or air fry for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Let chips cool completely on the tray—they will firm up as they cool.
- Peel off gently and serve or store.
Notes
- Blend cottage cheese for smoother texture before baking.
- Mix in grated cheese like cheddar or Parmesan for extra flavor.
- Experiment with seasonings like ranch, taco spice, or smoked paprika.
- Sprinkle with sesame or chia seeds for added crunch.
- Best eaten fresh; re-crisp in oven if they soften.
