Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf combines all the flavors of the classic French dish—chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese—into a hearty, oven-baked meatloaf. It’s rich, flavorful, and slices beautifully for a comforting and elegant meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground chicken
- 6 slices ham
- 6 slices Swiss cheese or 1 cup shredded Swiss
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Optional: chopped parsley or thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line or grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture into the bottom of the loaf pan and press evenly.
- Layer ham slices over the meat, then add a layer of Swiss cheese.
- Top with remaining chicken mixture, sealing the edges well.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with parsley or thyme if desired.

- Swap ham for prosciutto or smoked turkey for a twist.
- Use mozzarella or provolone instead of Swiss for a milder flavor.
- Substitute almond flour or crushed pork rinds for breadcrumbs for low-carb.
