Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, and olive oil or butter.
- Press each shrimp into the breadcrumb mixture to coat well and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and coating is golden and crisp.
- Finish with lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Add red pepper flakes for heat.
- Use crushed pork rinds or almond flour for a keto version.
- Broil for last 1–2 minutes for extra crunch.
