Description

Baked Garlic Parmesan Crusted Shrimp is a quick and flavorful seafood dish featuring juicy shrimp coated in a crispy, savory garlic-parmesan breadcrumb crust. Perfect as an appetizer or main dish, it’s elegant yet easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, and olive oil or butter.
  4. Press each shrimp into the breadcrumb mixture to coat well and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and coating is golden and crisp.
  6. Finish with lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Use crushed pork rinds or almond flour for a keto version.
  • Broil for last 1–2 minutes for extra crunch.
  • Prep ahead by coating shrimp and refrigerating until ready to bake.
