Air Fryer Sweet Chili Chicken and Brussels Sprouts is a quick, bold-flavored meal made with crispy Brussels sprouts, juicy chicken, and a sticky sweet-spicy glaze. Perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks
- 1/2 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tsp soy sauce or coconut aminos (optional)
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss Brussels sprouts with 1/2 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss chicken with remaining oil and seasonings in a separate bowl.
- Air fry Brussels sprouts for 5 minutes.
- Add chicken to the basket, shake to combine, and cook for 10–12 more minutes, shaking halfway, until chicken is cooked and sprouts are crisp.
- While cooking, heat sweet chili sauce with soy sauce and red pepper flakes in a small pan or microwave.
- Toss cooked chicken and Brussels sprouts with the warmed sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if using, and serve hot.

- Use broccoli, cauliflower, or bell peppers as vegetable alternatives.
- Make it low-sugar with a homemade sweet chili sauce using honey or sugar-free sweetener.
- Serve with rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
